Comparing CCA’s Retail 2.0 and Broadlume’s Digital Retailing

This is my analysis of CCA’s Retail 2.0 and Broadlume’s Digital Retailing system is just my opinion. My thoughts are based on what I have heard and read on the street, online and in the industry press. This is simply my perspective on the potential benefits and challenges associated with each system. Here are some of my thoughts.  The CCA Retail 2.0 implies that it is a major redesign and enhancement of existing processes. The label “Retail 2.0” suggests a significant overhaul and the introduction of new features, potentially requiring more time and resources for implementation. In contrast, Broadlume’s approach builds upon its existing technologies, which may result in a faster, more straightforward and cost-efficient adoption process. Both systems have a common objective. Both systems aim to enhance the customer’s buying experience and bring them into the store by extending the digital experience and creating a seamless end-to-end process. They share a focus on improving the customer journey and convenience. The online platform importance with CCA’s system places an emphasis on the importance of robust online platforms to aid consumers in their decision-making process. Broadlume’s base was created on robust online platforms, so this is nothing new to existing Broadlume clients.  Broadlume continually integrates digital technologies and customer-friendly websites as part of its foundation.  Broadlume’s approach may be perceived as more cost-efficient for dealers due to its continuity with existing digital technologies, potentially leading to a smoother implementation process.  CCA’s Retail 2.0 massive showroom redesign implies a significant physical transformation, which could pose implementation challenges and require adaptation from dealers which could slow its implementation.
This is just my opinion. My analysis underscores that the choice between these systems will depend on individual dealers’ specific needs and available resources. Careful evaluation is essential to determine which system aligns best with their business strategies and objectives.
